Join us for the second film in the Roman Polanski's series, Tess. Tess is a 1979 romance film directed by Roman Polanski. It is a timeless adaptation of Thomas Hardy's 1891 classic romance novel Tess of the d'Urbervilles. It tells It tells the story of Tess Darbeyville, a beautiful young peasant, who seeks her fortune with the wealthy D'Urbervilles, whom her family believes to be distant relatives. Steve Hunt will be hosting and will lead a discussion after the screening.
