This was a excellent book i truly enjoyed the main character being female (mariel is now my favorite character). the adventure and sorrow and drama between her and her father made the book so much more interesting, and i enjoyed the fact that the bad guy was once again a rat and not another animal. i really am enjoying this series and i recommend it to 11-13 year olds because it is slightly violent. But the fact they are animals makes it seem its to be read by young children.in the end it is a really great book i will be reading again really soon !!  Shaker Heights Public Library Catalog

I enjoy the Oz books even though they are slightly childish. I think that my Oz is different than other versions and that's ok. I especially like Ozma and Trot.   Shaker Heights Public Library Catalog
